Every Day Is Yours To Win / January 2nd, 2012
“I cannot tell a lie, it’s not all cherry pie,
But it’s all there waiting for you, yeah you.”
It’s going to be 77 degrees today in Los Angeles, and the sky is so blue it would be easy to make the mistake that I’m living right just because of where I chose to live. It would be easy to descend into cynicism and cheap jokes about climate change, the upcoming election and the Mayan Apocalyptic Zombie attacks scheduled for 2012.
But I’m just going to take the sunshine and say thanks. And in that spirit, I offer Woody Guthrie’s New Year’s Resolutions. If you’re stuck for ideas, you could do a lot worse. (Via BoingBoing.)

This is excellent. It’s beautiful, sunny, and with gorgeous blues skies here in Missoula, MT, today too. Only it’s a whopping 27 degrees out.

Thanks for that. Helped me with one of mine – discover things to smile about.

Beautiful day here in Swansea, IL also. Are you coming to Bouchercon this year? Didn’t see your name on the Attendees list.
Rec’d The President’s Vampire for Christmas and read it right away. Waiting now for the next one. Fans are voracious, you know.

Elaine, I haven’t finalized my schedule for this year yet. But I still plan on attending BoucherCon. Thanks for the kind words. Hope you enjoy RED, WHITE, AND BLOOD when it hits April 26.
